People often ask me how I got started breeding. I origonally had interest in veterinary medicine, but soon decided it was not a career that was going work well with the large family that we were hoping for.
I had often helped out a friend of the family when I was young that bred Cocker spaniels, and it had always been something that I dreamed of doing myself.
I stopped working soon after having our second child, and we then purchased our first golden, Bella, who we eventually had our first litter with.
I was immediately hooked. Hooked on their little paws, wagging tails, and smiling personalities....I had found what I truly loved to do.
It gives me great pride to give a family a pup that I know will be a wonderful companion.
I have been breeding for 4 years now, and hope to be surrounded by goldens for the rest of my life.
All of our puppies are raised in the home with us. Our household is very busy. We almost always have an aunt, mother, or cousin around helping with the puppies and excercizing the dogs. They are carefully handled by our children(we now have 4) under our supervision.
